Introduction

Options Wise ("we", "the app") is an options portfolio valuation tool for retail traders. This policy explains what data we handle — and what we do not.

Data we do not collect

• No account registration or login
• No names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
• No upload of your positions or portfolio to our servers

Local storage on your device

All option legs, costs, and cached quotes are stored only on your device using local database storage. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Market data usage

When you refresh valuations, the app requests symbol price and implied volatility from our market API. These requests contain ticker symbols only — not your full portfolio. Data is sourced from third-party providers (e.g. Yahoo Finance) for calculation purposes.

Crash reporting

We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports, including device model, OS version, and stack traces. We filter reports to avoid sending position or account details. This helps us improve stability.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Market data providers receive only the symbols needed for quotes you request.
